The team at Sdh Design Solutions represent expertise, commitment and long-term project experience.

Sidney grew up in Macon, Georgia which is also where his love for historic buildings and art began as a young boy.   He moved to Savannah, Georgia and obtained a degree in Architecture and Interior Design with emphasis on Historic Preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design in 1986. During his senior year at Savannah College of Art and Design he studied in Italy which continues to be reflected in his design work today. After college he returned to Macon and worked for a local interior designer for a year, spent another two years specializing in lighting design with an engineering firm, and then worked for five years with a local architecture firm before starting SDH Design Solutions in 1992.  Sidney proudly brings 27 years of design experience to his projects which now have been completed in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.

Sidney is an avid cyclist and loves the outdoors.  He spends his free time in North Georgia with his family at his mountain cabin in the woods.

Angela has a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Math from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.  She worked several years designing and drafting electrical and plumbing projects for multiple engineering/architectural firms before starting her own contract design business.  She also brought several years of architectural experience to Sdh Design Solutions.  She has worked with Sidney at Sdh Design Solutions for the past 18 years and brings many assets to the design table.  She is incredibly talented and organized.

Angela enjoys working in her beautiful yard, traveling to Europe, painting and designing fabulous jewelry.  She holds a third degree black belt in taekwondo and is known around town as "the local pool shark".

Jim Mitchell is a registered architect.  He started Genesis Architecture 45 years ago in Deland, Florida.  Jim now lives with his wife in Warner Robins, Georgia and has begun working with Sidney on church design projects and other non-residential projects through M&H Design Solutions started by he and Sidney Haynes 4 years ago.  Over the past 30 years Jim has put much of his efforts into designing churches.  His scope of work includes additions, renovations, family life centers and new church complexes.  He has designed projects that have been constructed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.  Jim separates liturgical design from other types of construction by providing a spiritual element of design to these projects.  Jim brings valuable experience to the drawing table.

Jim and his wife are very active in their Warner Robins church community.

Lori Reeves Haynes grew up in Macon, Georgia and is married to Sidney D. Haynes.  She attended Wesleyan College where she studied business management and marketing.  She spent several years working with a company that developed merchandise for movies and bands. She then worked for six years in Admissions at Wesleyan College before staying home with their three children and starting a personal chef business.  During her time as a stay at home mom she volunteered through the community and was president of the Shirley Hills Garden Club  and president of the Home and School Association at St. Joseph School in Macon, GA.  Sidney and Lori's daughter is now a student at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia and both of their sons are at Mt de Sales Academy in Macon, Georgia. Lori's time has been freed up and she has chosen to return to work with her husband at Sdh Design Solutions to get her hands back into the marketing business.

Lori enjoys running, biking, reading and spending time with her family and friends.   She loves weekend getaways to walking cities like Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia.

We look forward to talking with you about your project.
